As we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Chicago Bears' Super Bowl victory, it's the perfect time to party with former players who participated. This party for up to 100 people is perfect for you and your friends, a block party, or a corporate outing! Former 1985 Chicago Bears team members Dan Hampton, Otis Wilson and Steve McMichael are now members of the band Chicago 6, who will entertain your crowd of up to 100 guests with Motown, classic rock, country, parodies of popular hit songs and more fun. You'll also hear inside stories about their days with the legendary Bears team! The Chicago 6 got started as a side project of musically inclined Bears and Blackhawks players during the 1987 NFL football strike. The band's original lineup included — Hampton on bass, Hall of Fame running back Walter “Sweetness” Payton on drums, defensive back Dave Duerson playing trumpet alongside Blackhawks players Troy Murray on tenor saxophone and Curt Fraser and Gary Nylund shredding on electric guitars. The Chicago 6 have played to sold-out crowds at the UIC Pavilion and scored gigs in New York City and Puerto Rico. They have also played high-profile events like at the 2015 Taste of Chicago and this year’s Auto Show First Look for Charity. The band will play a one-hour set either at your home or at an outdoor venue we can provide, such as a large parking lot. Everyone will also get a meet-and-greet opportunity to take photographs and get autographs. Food for this unforgettable event will be provided by Q-BBQ and Hot Dog Co. Craft beer from BuckleDown Brewing is also included.
