We are excited to announce the highly anticipated 2024 annual 86 Cancer event, scheduled for September 9, 2024. Hosted by Makeready in partnership with Pelotonia and RTRX, seeking to raise $340,000 to fund innovative cancer research by assembling riders to collectively cycle over 1,800 miles in Columbus, Ohio on August 3^rd, 2024.

Since its introduction in 2019, Makeready’s 86 Cancer event has continued to serve as a primary fundraising event, having raised over $430,000 to date. 86 Cancer features the “Chopped” style culinary competition, where local chefs are paired with culinary students from Dallas College “El Centro” to compete with a united mission of eradicating cancer. We are bringing back the cocktail competition where guests vote on their favorite batch cocktail created by two local bartenders and two influencers.

Funds raised during the event will exclusively go towards Pelotonia’s mission to fund vital cancer research. Established in 2008, Pelotonia’s community of passionate fundraisers is centered around a three-day cycling experience, entertainment, and volunteering to raise awareness and funds for cancer research.
