This virtual Fall Benefit has something for everybody! Choose to follow a family-friendly track with a magician and a science experiment show OR enjoy a virtual mixology class followed by stand-up comedy (PG13+) geared toward adults. We will finish with a traditional Irish music performance from a father-son duo, Joe and Declan McShane, that all ages can enjoy. Guests will be provided with links to both event tracks so you may choose to move between the two.
The mixology class ingredient list can be found here.
Pre-Event Pizza Party (5:30 p.m.):
Make your own pizza to enjoy during the event! Derrick Tung of Paulie Gee's Logan Square will teach attendees how to stretch their dough and top their pizzas. Dough must be made or purchased beforehand - an ingredient list and YouTube tutorial from Derrick will be provided if you want to make your dough (12-72 hours in advance) or you can purchase a pizza kit to pick up from the restaurant in Logan Square (payment and pick-up scheduled through Tock). If necessary, you may buy pre-made dough elsewhere.
Silent Auction & Raffle
This year’s auction has a new twist, with your auction bids supporting both the CBF and small businesses that have been impacted by the pandemic. All items were donated by CBF board members, friends, and partners to help promote and support local restaurants, businesses, and nonprofits. You can also purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win two round-trip flights donated by United Airlines.
You can bid on the auction or buy raffle tickets even if you can’t make it to the event, so get the bidding started early today!
