At Emily's Place, our mission is to break the cycle of domestic violence for women and their children through long-term transformational care that seeks to restore faith, hope, and health.
Nationally, one in four women will experience domestic violence in their lifetime. In Texas, the statistics are one in three women.
Domestic violence is also a leading cause of homelessness for women. We offer a unique 24-month continuum of care providing essential services including housing, transportation, childcare, counseling, education and job skills training, life skills programming, and case management, all geared towards empowering survivors to achieve self-sufficiency. We offer a safe, stable, and supportive environment where our families can go from surviving to thriving.
Because of you and the support of our community, we have helped so many families heal, rebuild their lives, and create better futures and that is something to celebrate every day!
