12TH ANNUAL LAWRENCE HALL FALL FÊTE

The 12th Annual Lawrence Hall Fall Fête will be held at Lacuna Loft Studios.

From raffles and auctions and a sit-down dinner to hearing from Lawrence Hall youth and friends, this year's Fall Fête on Thursday, October 10, at 6pm (CST) will showcase the long-term outcomes of Lawrence Hall’s programs and to celebrate the lives and accomplishments of our youth.

Let’s all come together to do bigger, bolder things to provide opportunities for all.  See you in person on October 10th!

2024 CHAMPION FOR CHILDREN

Dr. Dana Weiner

Dr. Dana Weiner is a Senior Policy Fellow at Chapin Hall. She currently serves in the office of Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker as the Chief Officer for Children’s Behavioral Health Transformation, working across all six child-serving state agencies to achieve historic changes in coordinated service delivery to youth with mental health challenges. Dr. Weiner, a clinical psychologist and child welfare policy researcher, has over 25 years of experience providing data-driven guidance to public systems that aim to meet the needs of children and youth. She prioritizes simplicity, prevention, the application of technology to streamline processes, and elevating consumer voices.

Prior to joining Chapin Hall, Dr. Weiner served on the faculty of Northwestern University for twelve years; for six of these years, she served as the Senior Policy Advisor to the Director of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, providing support that state leaders needed to answer key questions and successfully confront challenges. She served on numerous Councils, Task Forces, and Commissions throughout her tenure, and taught graduate-level courses both at Northwestern and the University of Chicago.

At Chapin Hall since 2014, Dr. Weiner has provided analytic consultation and policy guidance to child welfare jurisdictions across the country. She applies multiple analytical approaches to understanding population needs and developing service systems to meet them. In March 2022, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker named Weiner the Director of Children’s Behavioral Health Transformation, and in 2023 signed an executive order declaring that Illinois would implement the Blueprint for Transformation to guide historic system change.
