Managing Partner of CAST US at Cleveland Avenue, Andrea leads the organization’s work investing in and supporting minority and women entrepreneurs and their companies. Previously she served as President and CEO of World Business Chicago, as Deputy Mayor, Chief Neighborhood Development Officer for the City of Chicago, and CEO of the Chicago Urban League where she led the nationally-recognized organization's focus on expanding economic opportunity in underserved communities. Andrea also served as a federal and state prosecutor, serving as an Assistant United States Attorney and as the first woman and African-American First Assistant in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. She currently chairs the board of Chicago State University and also serves on the boards of the Northwestern Memorial Hospital Foundation, the Economic Club of Chicago, Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago, and the Black Ensemble Theater.

Lucy's experiences as a community organizer, professor, fundraiser, and philanthropist reflect her multifaceted approach to catalyzing positive transformation. In 1981, Lucy helped co-found the Crossroads Fund, an innovative initiative that influenced the Chicago philanthropic landscape by championing a "change not charity" model. The Crossroads Fund continues to support local groups in Chicago, empowering grassroots movements and community-powered approaches to social change.  Lucy worked as a fundraiser for low-income housing groups and for immigrant and refugee organizations. She also serves on the Board of Impact for Equity, was a Board President of Changing Worlds, helped establish the Cambodian American Heritage Museum, is on the Advisory Committee of Women’s Global Education Project, and is a member of the Founders Committee of the Gun Violence Prevention PAC. She serves as a Trustee of the Lohengrin Foundation, which supports groups that drive social impact and community change. Lucy is married to Peter Ascoli and has one daughter, son-in-law, and two grandsons.
