About Mudlark

2026 is Mudlark's 21st year of empowering and celebrating young artists, nurturing creativity and fostering lasting friendships through our plays, classes, residencies, and camps in an environment of care, equity, challenge, and joy. Whether it's their first time on stage or their 100th, Mudlark ensures everyone has a place to belong and the support they need to thrive. That's why Mudlark provides unconditional sliding-scale pricing for families who share the belief in the transformative power of making and seeing live theater. The commitment to safeguard that legacy makes Mudlark a place for EVERYONE and a uniquely impactful organization.

Actors and students learn empathy, listening skills, public speaking, critical thinking, and collaboration—strengths that enhance their academic and personal growth, and will also prepare them to make a difference in any field they choose to enter.
