Tartan Bash 2025
$

The 2025 Tartan Bash Fund-a-Grant was brought to the Foundation by Homestead High School Science Teacher, Dawn Pfaff. The STEM grant will be used for vertical learning opportunities for our middle schoolers, preparing them for high school science and biodiversity studies. This grant will provide our middle school teachers with stereoscopes and basic equipment for teaching experience-based science. Familiarity of the equipment and exposure to this curriculum is critical for our middle schoolers to have prior to entering high school. Vertical learning opportunities that link transitions from one level to another are vital. The grant will also replace outdated equipment being used in the science department at Homestead High School.
