Family & Friends Arboretum Sleepover
Gather your favorite people—family, friends, or a mix of both—for a one-of-a-kind overnight adventure under the stars at the Arboretum! This immersive experience is designed to deepen your connection to nature and the Arboretum. Perfect for all ages, your group of up to 12 will enjoy a curated blend of guided activities and unstructured “free time” in a breathtaking setting. This private campout includes nature-based activities, quality time outdoors, and great food, all in a beautiful garden setting.
Explore the Farm at the Arb with scavenger hunts and explorer packs for kids, play outdoor games, and learn about pollinators with special access to the Bee Center. Watch the sun dip below the horizon at the Pollinator Meadow. When night falls we’ll look for fireflies followed by a glowing campfire for s’mores and stories. Sleep under the stars on the event lawn or cozy up in the historic barn—gear provided!
Includes a picnic dinner from Rootstock and a hearty breakfast at the Summer Kitchen. Whether you're eight or eighty, this intergenerational overnight offers memories that will last a lifetime.
Recommended season: late summer through fall. Must be scheduled at least 30 days in advance. Please note that this is an alcohol-free event.
This all-ages, experience is designed to spark joy, curiosity, and togetherness.
