Chef Jason began his culinary career at the age of 14, and he remained with his first employer for nearly 20 years. During that time, Chef Jason realized his true passion was cooking and hospitality, and he went on to earn his degree in Culinary Arts from Kendall College in Chicago, IL. In 2010, Chef Jason opened his first restaurant, Mattone Restaurant & Bar in La Grange Park, IL, which he later sold in 2017. Also in 2017, he acquired two buildings and built his second restaurant from the studs. His second restaurant, Posto 31, opened in May 2018 and has since earned numerous accolades. Chef Jason is a culinary mastermind with a growth mindset, constantly pushing himself to achieve the unachievable.
