Encore: A Weekend Long Academy Celebration

Arrival Times: Please plan on arriving at least 30 minutes before show time on either day. For Saturday, you will have to check in at the registration tables before finding your seat. To avoid the lines, we recommend self check-in on your phones prior to your arrival.
Parking/Directions: We recommend taking public transportation, Ubering, carpooling, getting dropped off, or finding a SpotHero. There is also a parking garage near Venue SIX10: Grant Park South Garage located at 325 S Michigan Ave. There will be no valet parking available at either venue.
Registration: This year, we are encouraging guests to check in prior to arrival! You will receive an email from Auction and Events with a link to register before Saturday. Please do so to ensure there isn’t a line at the door and the show can start promptly at 6:00 p.m.!
Ticketing: Please note that there are two separate tickets for Friday and Saturday. Friday’s tickets will be sent through The Studebaker; and Saturday’s tickets will be sent through this platform, Auction and Events.
Auction Items: Our silent auction will open on Monday the 15th and close Saturday the 20th at 9:30 p.m. We have a variety of items to bid on, including Taylor Swift memorabilia, wine tastings, and Broadway trips. You can register from your phone once you receive the text from our trusted partner, Auction and Event Services.
Attire: Our "Red Carpet Flair" dress code calls for glamorous attire similar to what's seen at lavish events like award shows—think gowns, suits, and everything in between, all with a touch of Hollywood-inspired elegance. Dress to dazzle!
Food/Drink Options: This year’s dinner will feature a variety of cuisines at food stations located throughout the event. Unlike last year’s benefit, we will not feature a traditional multi-course plated dinner; guests are encouraged to explore the culinary options, and eat wherever and whenever they’d like!
We will have two full bars at Venue SIX10 – one on the 9th floor and one on the 10th floor. The Studebaker will have refreshments available for purchase on both Friday and Saturday night.
Weather Considerations: April in Chicago is always a unpredictable time for weather, please check the forecast and prepare for any inclement weather. Saturday’s event requires about a block-and-half walk to The Party. There will be coat check available at Venue SIX10, but not The Studebaker.
Special Accommodations: Encore’s Saturday event requires a brief walk down the street and audience-style seating. If you require special accommodations for either night, please reach out to Evan Pazkowski at epazkowski@chicagoartsacademy.org.
