ABOUT COURT THEATRE
Tony-Award wining Court Theatre reimagines classic theatre to illuminate our current times. In residence at the University of Chicago and on Chicago's historic South Side, Court Theatre engages its audiences with intimate and provocative experiences that inspire deeper exploration of the enduring questions that confront humanity and connect us as people.
We reach 25,000 audience members annually and employ approximately 200 artists and technicians. We operate year-round drama classes in five Chicago Public Schools, host nearly 2,000 young people in our Student Matinees, and produce public programs throughout the year, such as the Spotlight Reading Series.
