RECEPTION & SHOWCASE | DINNER | PANEL PRESENTATION

This new event hosted by the Minnesota Zoo Foundation takes conservation to the next level. Mix and mingle with industry experts, learn how the Zoo and its partners are working toward a better tomorrow, and come away inspired and hopeful for our future.

At our inaugural event, we’re tackling the illegal trade of endangered species. It’s one of wildlife’s biggest threats, and it doesn’t just happen across the world – it’s happening in our own backyards. Industry leaders like the Minnesota Zoo and other zoo, government, and conservation groups are working collaboratively and deploying revolutionary tactics to save vulnerable species being threatened by wildlife trafficking.

Talk with experts during our interactive showcase and then dive deeper during our panel discussion where you’ll learn more about how the Zoo and its partners are working to reduce trafficked animals in Minnesota and around the world.

What IS wildlife trafficking? Chris Ness from the Zoo's education department visited Fox 9 with some confiscated trafficked items to help bring awareness to the problem. Click to learn more and get a sneak peek at this year's event topic.

We hope you’ll join us on April 11 to meet innovative researchers and leaders in conservation at this new event benefiting the Minnesota Zoo Foundation and wildlife saving projects.
