Dr. Miyoko Chu, an author and scientist, is Senior Director of Communications at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. She led the pioneering team there that created the Merlin Bird ID app. Her work focuses on storytelling, science communication, and live experiences to connect with and inspire millions of people to learn about birds, advance science, and protect the natural world.
