PEAK - Partnership to Educate and Advance Kids

Founded in 1998 at Holy Trinity High School, PEAK is a Chicago-based nonprofit now in its 28th year of creating access for students with promise.
More than 300 scholars have participated in PEAK. More than 300 mentors have shown up for them. That one-to-one commitment is not incidental to the model. It is the model.
Each scholar receives four years of scholarships, dedicated mentorship, experiential programming, and academic support and intervention. Four years of consistent presence from people who are invested in their success. That consistency is what separates PEAK from a one-time intervention.
PEAK believes potential is evenly distributed but access is not. The barriers Chicago students face are real: cost, instability, and limited support. PEAK addresses all three, for four years, one scholar at a time.
When a student graduates, a household shifts. That shift compounds. After 28 years and more than 300 scholars, PEAK has seen that truth play out again and again across Chicago.
