Thank you for visiting the site for our completely re-envisioned annual fundraiser for Petra Kids Ministries! I want to thank all our donors, patrons, friends, and prayer partners for their ongoing support and the grace offered to our team as we all navigate this extraordinary time in our world. 

Our "live virtual" event took place on August 8th, 2020 followed by the launch of our live auction and sponsorship event. This event was our largest and most important fundraiser of 2020 - a year that continues to throw more and more curveballs at us all. 

During the live event, we heard stories directly from students, teachers, and administration as well as heard about how the school is achieving its mission to Restore Hope and  Build Dreams! If you were unable to attend the live event, a recording is posted here for you to view at your convenience.

Petra Kids Ministries is a 501(c)3 founded by Petra Otee Mangesho in 2009 to support the impoverished and orphaned children in Uganda where she herself grew up as an orphan. The ministry supports 357 pre-k - 7th grade students enrolled in Petra School located in the Aduku District of Northern Uganda and an additional 47 high school students continuing their education at Skyland High School in Lira. This year, two students have gone on to complete college and now enjoy rewarding careers!
