About Our Organization

Prosper Ladies Association (PLA) seeks opportunities to serve and meet the critical needs of our growing community. PLA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and we support children, families, first responders, and charitable organizations that serve the Prosper ISD area.   

Here are just a few ways our fundraising impacts the Prosper ISD community:

• In 2024 Prosper Christmas Angels provided new clothing, toys, and other essentials to 313 children.  Twenty-four Silver Angels (senior citizens) received gifts.  Three families shopped with Heroes and Helpers buying gifts for every member of each family.
• In 2024 Summer Lunch Program fed 620 children breakfast and lunch, 5 days a week for 10 weeks.  That's 62,000 meals!
• In 2024 PLA Scholarship Program proudly awarded $53,000 in scholarships to 22 graduating seniors.

Prosper Ladies Association members meet once per month from September to May. Each meeting is designed to give members a philanthropic opportunity as well as the chance to engage in a wide variety of social activities with other members. We like to have fun, make friends and serve the people in need in our community.
