About Our Organization

Prosper Ladies Association (PLA) seeks opportunities to serve and meet the critical needs of our growing community. PLA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.  We support children, families, first responders, and charitable organizations that serve the Prosper ISD area (Prosper, McKinney, Frisco, Celina, Aubrey, Collin and Denton Counties).

As Prosper ISD has grown, these are some accomplishments over the years (2013 to date):

  • Prosper Christmas Angels: Brightened the holidays by fulfilling wish lists for more than 2550 children and more than 250 senior citizens.
  • Summer Lunch: Purchased, packed and delivered over 284,500 meals to more than 2845 children who rely on free/reduced lunch during the school year, throughout the summer.
  • Scholarships: Spent in excess of $250,000 awarding financial assistance to graduating high school seniors facing challenges and honored students for outstanding community service.
  • Emergency Family Needs: Spent more than $50,000 providing critical relief to local families in crisis.

Prosper Ladies Association members meet once a month from September to May. Each meeting is designed to give members a philanthropic opportunity as well as the chance to engage in a wide variety of social activities with other members. We like to have fun, make friends, and serve the people in need in our community.

As a nonprofit organization, PLA also partners with and supports existing nonprofits. We can help cultivate new nonprofits. If you see a need, Let PLA help you fulfill that need. We welcome new members and information from established nonprofit agencies in our community.
