2025 Event Proceeds
Support from the Reindeer Route Housewalk will directly benefit key initiatives at Endeavor Health Elmhurst Hospital. A portion of the proceeds from the 2025 event will contribute to the Teen Volunteer Health Profession Scholarship fund, including the Marilyn A. Graber Teen Scholarship, which assists Elmhurst Hospital teen volunteers pursuing careers in healthcare. Additionally, the Housewalk will also support The Centennial Campaign for Elmhurst Hospital and the Master Campus Expansion.
The expansion will ensure that Elmhurst Hospital will continue to provide exceptional care for generations to come. Key areas of expansion include:
- Cancer care expansion: 14 new infusion bays, nearly doubling exam rooms, and an onsite pharmacy to provide life-saving treatments in comfort and with precision.
- Surgical growth: 3 new operating rooms to allow for 2,000 additional procedures annually — ending delays and eliminating waitlists for urgent care.
- Family Birthing Center expansion: 4 labor and delivery rooms means welcoming 400–500 more babies each year in facilities designed for families’ most precious moments.
- New medical office building: Improving access with pediatric, neurological, and cardiovascular services close to home.
- Innovation & technology: Advanced analytics and AI to enhance safety, MOXI robots to support staff, and state-of-the-art breast cancer screening.
- Our people: Investing in our Magnet-recognized nurses and supporting physician leadership and recruitment to continue our legacy of exceptional care and enhance patient outcomes.
