While a big part of what we do at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley is to provide youth with a fun and safe place to engage in educational programming led by supportive and caring adults, we're also doing so much more than that to ensure children and youth throughout our communities are given opportunities to thrive.
We support the mental and emotional needs of youth by providing licensed no-cost counseling support through Youth and Family Counseling and grief support through the Club's Center for Grieving Children.
We help students stay on track and achieve their academic and personal goals through our Truancy & Reduction Assessment Center (TRAC) and our Scholars on Target to Achieve Results (STAR) team of mentors, connects with Black middle and high school students 1:1 and in groups to help ensure academic success and goal attainment.
In addition, our Home Base team provides outreach, services, and support to youth experiencing homelessness, transience, and housing insecurity.
We also support the physical health of Club members by providing healthy snacks and meals daily.
