You and up to 7 friends will enjoy a guided tour of our magnificent basilica followed by a gourmet sit-down, dinner with Father Simon in the rectory’s dining room. The tour of the basilica will be led by Director of Liturgy, Paul Scavone and Director of Music, Ken Sotak. Learn about the history of the basilica organ and visit the chambers to see the inner workings. See and hear how the different organ sounds are produced, listen to a few organ solos, and BEST OF ALL – you get to be an organ virtuoso by playing a few notes or even a solo on the basilica organ (be sure to have your phone in “record mode” for this part of the tour)! Go behind the altar and see the names of the Basilica Foundation members or see the “secret passageway” to the tabernacle! This tour is your chance to explore the basilica and learn about its many stories and relics. AND, you will also be the lucky recipient of a decorative mosaic tile star that was gently removed from the interior of our very own basilica.
