The Luminary Award Dinner hosts 400 Chicago area professionals, community leaders, and other friends of ChicagoCAC who come together to celebrate and support our mission and vision.
This year, we gather Proud & Inspired, celebrating our impact through philanthropic support and envisioning a future where every child is safe. This vision comes to life through our core programs—Advocacy & Investigative Services, Clinical Services, and Education, Outreach & Prevention— which provide essential services that streamline investigations, expedite care, and minimize children's exposure to trauma.
Join us during Child Abuse Prevention Month to support ChicagoCAC’s vital programs that restore the lives of Chicago’s children and families impacted by sexual abuse.
Our 2025 Luminary Award Recipients
During this special evening, we honor exceptional leaders whose dedication has strengthened the protection and well-being of Chicago’s children. This year’s Champions for Children, Melissa Washington and Bill Dietz, have been instrumental in advocating for families affected by abuse. We will also welcome Angela Rose, survivor, advocate, and founder of PAVE, as our keynote speaker. Irika Sargent will return as our emcee for the evening.
